What
if I train my people and they leave?
The question you probably should be asking
yourself is "What if I don't train them and they
stay?" The simple fact is that highly motivated, highly
successful A+ personality sales professionals often do leave in
search of bigger, better, more challenging opportunities.
However, having a couple of fast horses in your stable should be
the least of your worries. What you should be concerning
yourself with is getting your slower and mid-level producers
working more effectively, equipping them with the tools necessary to become
highly productive, top performers.
I
only have a few employees. We're already a small group.
Can you still help us?
Yes. Because our skills analysis test
allows us to see the profile of each of your employees in
advance of the training, we can still cater the session to
address those areas of greatest need. Additionally, each
trainee receives printed materials that were specifically
selected to benefit them individually.
Do
you ever work with a large group?
If you have a sales staff of 200 requiring
training, the "small" group may contain 20 or more
people. To some, that may be considered a large group. We will
always try to put salespeople with similar need together. We
also understand that this is often not feasible due to time or
economic constraints. However, we will always utilize the skills
analysis testing for every trainee so that we might get a
"snapshot" of the group as a whole prior to the
session.
I
like the concept of the skills assessment test. Who gets
the results?
You will be supplied with a copy of the
profile of each participant prior to the actual training
session. Together, we will review the results and discuss what
training will be implemented to improve the participant's skills
in areas requiring attention.
Can
I use the test in recruiting new salespeople?
I'd like to know their
skill set before I hire.
Absolutely.
The skills assessment test is an ideal indicator of how a
potential employee might perform in a variety of sales-related
circumstances. Your HR representative can deliver the test at your
location and forward it to us for analysis. When completed, we
will then provide you with a profile of the applicant that you can
use in determining this candidate's suitability for your sales environment.
The test is also E.E.O.C. compliant in all 50 states.
How
about consulting - do you do that as well?
Certainly. Our services are available on
a consulting basis in several areas including market
development, national account management, key-person mentoring, compensation and commission planning,
field
staff analysis, in-house training programs, secret shopper
services and trade show support.
